Athlete Membership Fees

The AAU Membership year runs from September 1 to August 31. AAU Membership is required to participate in all AAU licensed events.

 

YOUTH PROGRAM (All Sports)

Youth Program consists of athletic participation for ages as defined by AAU youth sport rules. Youth membership allows participation and insurance coverages in youth sports.

$22.00 - Regular Membership
$24.00 - Extended Coverage Membership (AB)*

 

*The AAU's extended coverage program (AB) allows AB members to participate in non-AAU licensed events under certain circumstances.

How To Qualify: AAU Junior Olympic Games   (SUMMER) 

 

Step 1: District Qualifier 

The top sixteen (16) finishers in each individual, relay and multi-event shall advance from the District Qualifier to the Regional Qualifier. Competitors shall only advance from the District Qualifier in to the Regional Qualifier in the events that they actually competed and qualified at the District level. Districts may be granted a waiver from conducting a District qualifying meet by the AAU Track and Field Executive Committee if petitioned by the District Sport Director.

Step 2a: Regional Qualifier 
Advancements from Regional Qualifiers to AAU Junior Olympic Games: 

A. Running Events - The top five (5) athletes advance 
B. Field Events - The top five (5) athletes advance 
C. Relays - The top five (5) teams advances.

Multi - Events - The top three (3) athletes advance
